Breakfree Aanuka Beach Resort Coffs Harbour

We usually stay at Arrawarra van park, but decided to go more upmarket for a change. we were not disapointed. Rooms were spacious, clean and layed out in a manner that we felt very secluded even though the resort was at almost full capacity.

Unique Quality: Pools were wonderful, especially the heated one where the baby spent most of his time. Gardens were beautiful and very conducive to relaxation. as we pulled in to the reception driveway, baby said "We're in the jungle!", and he wasn't far wrong...very tropical feel! We enjoyed our stay and will no doubt go back (when they have specials on again!)

The top resorts in Coffs, Pacific Bay, Opal Cove etc were build about the same time as Aanuka, but as they are looking older, Aanuka with its tropical bali type setting is looking better and better. A great place for a romantic stay.

Unique Quality: Pool has this tropical mountain stream atmosphere. Accomodation looks like grass huts from the outside, but luxurious inside.

Directions: The closest of the five star resorts to the center of town, but still on the beach.
