For the Business Traveller
The Crowne Plaza was a great place to stay, IF you have the $$$. Very expensive at $295 AUS for a room with a view of the beach (breakfast included). Parking not included and that is $18 per day extra. AND you will also be charged for internet connection in your room as well at $29 a day (however, free internet access in the business office).
SO this is not your kind of place when on a very tight and limited budget.
The Coogee Beach area has many other less expensive hotels and backpackers hostles in the area as well.
Unique Quality: Directly across from the beach, AND easy access to the buses. Buses 373 & 374 are the ones to take to Circular Quay and Sydney Harbour at $8 return fare. Walk to the many area resturants and pubs on Coogee Street.
Coogee is surrounded by one of the East Coast's most breathtaking beaches and headlands and embraces a relaxed, casual setting. The hotel has two restaurants and two bars, all offering stunning ocean views.
