We have stayed at this Caravan Park many times. This time, the Park was a little run-down, but new owners had not long taken over and were starting to clean it up. There are 41 sites, of which 29 are tourist sites, these are separate from the permanents. It looks like they may have been moving permanents out of the park.
It is located one street back from the main street. Early evening, expect to hear cattle trucks go past, they stop after a while, and the night becomes quiet!
Even though a little run-down, it still was good. Lawned drive through sites were very handy, we could choose our own site, so we chose one close to the clean amenities block. There are plenty of trees for shade in summer, and deciduous for winter so the sun could shine on us! TV reception was ok. There is a Campers kitchen, with cooking facilities, fridge and Television. The Laundry has coin operated washing machine and dryer. I was happy to find Books which we could browse through and exchange with the ones we had read.
They have a happy hour each night if you wish to attend and meet other travellers.
I am sure it will be back again to the neat and tidy park it once was!
