Dirty Place Ever

Worst place i have ever seen, i had to scrub the toilet as it hadn't been cleaned 4 bout a mth. and the dust on the bedsides and the carpet was ridiculous. But i asked 4 a refund n i am still waitin almost a week later. not happy at all.

I checked on the website as it is years since we went and found out that - Remember, every ticket is valid for two consecutive days.
Western Plains Zoo is open every day of the year (including Christmas Day) from 9am to 5pm.
Prices effective July 1, 2007.
Adult $37
4-15years old $18
under 4 years - free
Pensioners /seniors / student concessions $23

Family ticket prices vary depending on number of adults and children so I suggest you check out the website for all the information you could possibly need to have a great trip

"More Than The Zoo"

In the first school holidays of 2000 we brought our kids out here to see basically the Zoo & the Observatory.

It was just a short trip of 4 days, with a day each way of travelling & 2 full days & nights in Dubbo.

If you visit us downunder & fly in via Sydney then I'd recommend hiring a car & driving up here not only to see Dubbo & its attractions, but also seeing the Blue Mtns on the way & also some other lovely country towns. Bathurst & Orange are quite different to Dubbo & lovely towns in their own right.
