GLOUCESTER HOLIDAY PARK: Quiet park
We stayed at this large park set amongst large shady Trees, very nice in Summer!
A quiet park, with very well kept Amenities. The Laundry, washing machines were coins and the iron you could borrow from the office. There were plenty of washing lines!
There was a communal kitchen and TV lounge, children's playground and FREE bbq's.
A kiosk is onsite for icecreams, papers, etc.
Thankgoodness they had a car wash area, we put that to use as our car was filthy after travelling on wet, dirt roads.
We stayed in a cabin which was very good, infact, the whole park I rated as 5*

Bucketts Way Motel: Motel in town
Facilities here are good with the motel having its own restaurant. Rooms are comfortable without being flash and there may be a little traffic noise but that's all.
It's located right smack in the centre of town near the roundabout. This picture actually shows you the building in front of the motel but I included it here so you would know where it was when you saw this.

Holiday Park: By the river
I had to name one but there are several places to park your caravan or motorhome in the area. Of those that charge, Holiday Park in the middle of Gloucester District Park has the best facilities and its spacious layout makes it popular all year round.
In the bush you can stay at Gloucester Tops Caravan Park that is situated on a bend in the Gloucester River just before the national park road that takes you to Gloucester Tops.
Immediately inside the park is the National Parks and Wildlife site with less facilities but an idyllic setting.
On the way north from Gloucester there are four pay sites, Poley's Place (toilets, showers, camping on the river); Camp Cobark (toilets, showers, riverside camping and horse riding), Woko (National Parks site with toilets and riverside camping) and Barrington Reserve (pay $10 at general store in Barrington for riverside camping).
