Australia Gold Coast and Byron Bays Best

We had our 10 day Honeymoon at Tropical Coast Retreat a 4.5 star self contained luxury accommodation site with everything inlcuding wireless internet. Our suites were self catering with ensuite spa bath, many great restaurants only mins away.
The property is 35 acres on a mountain bluff with both ocean and hinterland views, close to the Gold Coast Airport, Byron Bay, Tweed Heads and Kingscliff. They have a 15 metre pool, therapeutic spa, sauna and we both had a wonderful massage in the rainforest. We learnt to play golf on the 4 hole golf course, a good way to learn!!
We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but we were close to everything, we visited all the theme parks on the Gold Coast, a vineyard, did canooing, whale watching which was great and plenty more. I even bought wonderful fresh tea gifts for Christmas presents from the local Tea Plantation, Madura teas.

We went home with a great tan and learnt how to Bar B Que from Rick, one of the hosts, thanks so much. We can recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore, have fun or just relax.
Now we are home we are missing your place lots, we had a lovely stay, thanks so much for all of your kindness and hospitality whilst we were there, this is truly a holiday that we will not forget, you thought of everything, now back in the UK we miss Oz, Christmas won't be the same without you guys and the great bar-b-ques!! Unique Quality: Outstanding features are, the self contained suites have everything you need you don't need to bring anything only your food and drink!!
the gorgeous pool, the sauna that works, the theraputic spa in the rainforest.
the virgin rainforest on the property, the 4 hole golf course great for beginners and to have a few drinks whilst you play!!
The relaxing massage, a great experience by the pool.
Being close to everything, yet feeling like you are miles away.
