DAWSON SPRINGS CAMPGROUND: Camping with Nature
Dawsons Spring Campground @ Mt. Kaputar, we thought would be quite nice in Summer or warmer weather, in Winter, camping would be pretty cold.
The Shower/Toilet block was huge, and very clean. There were wood and Electric bbq's [these looked new], Picnic tables and drinking water.
There are about 25 sites, nobody was camping when we were there, don't blame them, too cold.
You pay your camping fee on a honesty system. Put your money in an envelope, and put in the box.
For a warmer option, there were some very nice looking Cabins available for rent.
Set amongst Gum Trees, there are Kangaroo's and plenty of bird life. I also noticed walking tracks starting from the campground.
