"NOWRA...ROYAL AUST.NAVAL AIR STATION..AIR MUSEUM.."
NOWRA...H.M.A.S.Albatross..of course there are so many aircraft to view in the wonderful Australian Naval Air Musem..but I was taken by these helicopters..a few "Hueys" and a Sea King from peacekeeping and Vietnam campaign...as Australia has de- commisioned its aircraft carriers and Naval Fleet Air Arm..(HMAS Melbourne..and HMAS Sydney).some time ago selling off all their excellent aircraft ..some examples have been retained here as have other aircraft from other wars and campaigns...all in excellent condition..there are some marvellous aircraft here along with the history of all naval craft and aircraft....This is a great museum if you are ever down this way..

Honeymoon Bay!!!
by leebee1
This section is really dedicated at the moment, to pictures of the Honeymoon Bay area. I may sooner or later, provide more detailed info on Nowra itself. (Honeymoon Bay was not available to select as its own destination).
"Honeymoon Bay, is actually just out of Jervis Bay!"
10kms from Currarong, you will find Honeymoon Bay.
It really is a nightmare of a place to get to if you have a small city car, like me!!! All the roads are corragated dirt tracks, and usually very bad. For example, if you drive very slow, as in second gear slow, its usually still so bumpy that your gears jump out all over the place. If that doesnt get you going, the 4wds that fly past you will! If you dont have a 4wd, the best bet is to phone ahead to check the road conditions...
"Coolendel... A recent addition!"
I have recently added Coolendel into this section. This camping spot is about 30kms from South Nowra...See tips for further info.
