Here are the vines, just pruned. It's June, winter time and we learnt that the vines bud in September. Then the vines are individually looked after, making sure they trail over the wire so that the grapes hang down. Picking season is in February/March.
Looking out from Blueberry Hill. See how their vines are neatly trailed and wound around the wire. They were in the middle of pruning when we were there. It's fascinating to see how they treat each vine with so much care... Well I can see why... the end product is worth all that attention...lol.
i was kinda lucky to such a good weather on the day i visit Hunter Valley, well, i am not really a wine person but i wanna have a look of wineyard. I also walked through the Hunter Valley Garden which was very nice, i really like the rose garden alot. the scent of lavender in Italian grotto could put all your stress away. the Storybook Garden truly a kid's land as there are so many story characters in there to make the Garden so lively! Nearby the Garden, there is a Village which has shops sells variety items.
