Port Pacific: First Class Resort

Our 7 day stay at Port Pacific was most enjoyable, it is a quality resort with excellent apartments, plenty of resort activities for adults and children including two very nice swimming pools (one for small children), indoor spa and suana rooms, tennis court, games room with pool tables, electronic machines, BBQ area near pool etc. Also included was underground security parking.
Most importantly the staff were very helpful, our one bedroom apartment was well furnished, had two bathrooms, very large lounge and dining room with sliding doors onto a balcony with views over the Hastings River. A modern fully equiped kitchen completed the apartment. We were on the 4th floor which gave us magnificent views, also a view of the swimming pool below but far enough away to avoid the noise.
The resort is located on the edge of the town's central shopping district, 5 minute walk to the river , cafes, supermarket and shops, and a 10 minute walk to the ocean and Town Beach.
We most certainly will return to this resort. This resort is also available to Time Share Exchange members and we used our RCI Timeshare membership to obtain a week's exchange at a cost of approximatelt Au$150 for the week. Accommodation is available to non members on a daily or weekly basis with cost varying with the season and I think a one bedroom apartment ranges from Au$800 to $1200 per week.

Unique Quality: Very nice apartments, friendly staff, walking distance to town centre, river and ocean.
