Airport Sydney International Motor Inn

I had a domestic flight into Sydney one afternoon and had an int'l flight out the next morning. It would've cost me about $30 or so between a night in a hostel & the bus or train ride in, so I decided to stay in the airport for the night. It was easy to pass the time there between showering, using internet, browsing shops, eating meals, reading, etc. There is a section in the airport where they allow people to lay down and sleep (on the floor, across the seats, etc.) overnight. The light doesn't go off at night tho, and the cleaning crew is quite loud, but if you're looking to save a few bucks, it's not a bad place to hang out. There seems to be about 10-20 people each night that has this idea (they mostly look like backpackers) so you're in good company. I met couple of Swedish guys who had already been there for 3 days due to unplanned, extended stop over in Sydney.

- TV in the food court until about 11 ish
- Clean facilities (unlike some hostels)
- Shopping & dining w/o having to go outside
- Baggage storage available (no lockers tho)
- or cart it around in the free luggage cart
