Cheap place to print text in Sydney?

by koiruli

Hi,
can anyone help to find a place in Sydney where I could print out some text cheaply?
The file is about 340 pages, just black and white text, no pics.
Googling offers a lot of online printing, but I would prefer to just go some place in the city and print the text from a memory stick straight away or within one day.
I noticed that some of the Sydney city libraries offer printing from 0.20 AUD per page.
Is there any place that would be cheaper, for hundreds of pages like my file?

Any hints are much appreciated!

Kwik Kopy have 8 Sydney branches. They may be cheaper than using the printing service at the library:

Hope this helps.

You could try going to an internet cafe near your hotel. Most offer a print service at a reasonable price :-)

Travel Tips for Sydney

Just Keep Walking

by Rachelynn

Maybe it's the weather or maybe it's the streets, i find Sydney city very comfortable to walk.

We walked from Central Railway Station to QVB, from there we walked to The Rocks, and further down is The Opera House.

So if you love exploring the city on foot, just keep walking!!!

City Maps

by cjg1

Not sure that this is a favorite thing or not but it sure isn't a fondest memory.

Sydney is a VERY tourist friendly town. They have many signs and maps all over town as well as information booths that are very easy to find and use. This goes a long way towards making out of towners feel at home here and feel like they are able to get the most out of their "Once in a Lifetime" trip to Sydney.

Taronga Park to Balmoral continued

by iandsmith

When you're wandering the outer headlands of the harbour you're guaranteed to come across old military establishments designed in bygone times for the defence of the harbour.
To quote the National Parks and Wildlife: This walk explores a great section of Sydney Harbour. The walk starts with views of the Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and spectacular views continue as you explore bushland and the bays along the way. The walk also explores a historic section of the harbour, including the fortifications at Bradley's Head and Chowder Bay. Some sections of this walk are closed at night. There are a few places to get food along the way, and many great places to eat your own packed lunch. On this walk you'll come across more than your fair share as Middle Head was a prime location for such installations. There are remnants, many still being used as functioning buildings, of most of the installations. From gun emplacement (pic 1) to defensive walls (pics 3&4) to office buildings (pic 2) there is so much there.
Some have been converted into tea rooms and function centres, mainly for the well heeled as the pic of the interior of the Gunners Barracks indicate and the prices ($39 for morning tea and $40 for afternoon tea) indicate.
Other places en route to dine are Ripples at Chowder Bay where there's also a cheap coffee place below and Athol Hall, not far from the start of the walk, which is situated in a lovely park with views back to the CBD across the harbour.
You can also wait until you reach Balmoral where there are several places to dine.

Visit THE AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE...

by S_R_NAIDU

Visit THE AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE PARK at WONDERLAND SYDNEY. Something I am told:
Nice and enjoyable to view the cute and shy Koalas. You can have a photo taken with one but REMEMBER that recent Australian regulations do not allow the carrying/cuddling of the Koalas.
Koalas don't live in families, but are solitary animals.
Koalas sleep as long as 18 hours a day and have a low-energy diet of eucalyptus leaves.
Koalas are not 'drunk' or otherwise intoxicated by their leaves.
Although koalas obtain most of their water from leaves -- the name koala is thought to mean 'no drink' in the native Aborginal tongues -- they do occasionally drink water at the edges of streams.
