THE GROSSEST PLACE I'VE EVER BEEN!!!
I travelled for 6 months in Australia and this was absolutely the most discusting place I've ever seen! We booked it last minute from the airport because it was the cheapest and had a free airport shuttle but we DEFINITELY should've spent the extra on a nicer place. My body was COVERED in bed bugs!! ABSOLUTELY COVERED!! My face and neck, both arms, stomach and feet. I was itchy for weeks and spent almost $40 on drugs and creams to take the itch away. The mattresses were ripped apart, squeeky beds...dirty, tiny bathrooms and there was vomit on the couch in the tv room!! IW IW IW! No elevator and it's like 7 flights of stairs to everything. Absolutely spend the extra money on a better hostel!! PLEASE! It will ruin your experience!

Eugh!!!
I would not reccomend this place to anyone! Unless you want free internet and a very cheap place to stay, that's the only good things I can say about it.
The rooms were huge, mine was 11 bed, I heard from people in other rooms that other people staying there came in, early in the morning, woke them up and threw food and drink all around the place.
The rooms were draughty and dirty, very simple, squeaky beds, only one main light in the room.
The kitchen was discusting, out of two cookers only two hobs worked, the fridges were dirty and full of gone off food, the workers weren't helpful at all. There was a big TV room where everyone smoked.
The bathrooms were virtually non-existant, there was one male, one female and one disabled, but they weren't shared; there was only one toilet and one dirty shower in each.
Unique Quality: That will teach me for going with the cheapest! Even then that was about AU$125 for the week.

I really liked staying here, because I had some fun roommates. You are in the middle of the city, everything is just a walk away. When I slept there the fire alarm went off by accident and the fire department was there within minutes, so that's not a worry either.
Unique Quality: There free internet, free linnen, free security lockers, landry, kitchen, a travel desk and a tv room with a large dvd selection.
