Started off the first 10 days of my trip to Australia here. My friend and I shared a private room (bunk bed, no bathroom). I found the bathrooms clean with hot water. People were friendly and there was lots of frigerator space. Kitchens were well equipped and the laundry facilities were decent. A nice mix of people from England, Ireland, New Zealand, and North America.
Security is really lax though. If you treasure anything you bring, keep it on you at all times or use the tiny lockers at the front. When I returned here the last week of my trip, I shared a room with some trashy girls. They brought boys home from the bars, and went through my stuff. When I got home I realized I was missing some gifts I had bought and some clothes of mine. The rooms are accessible by keys. Some guests keep the keys after checking out or copy them.
Sometimes, it is best to get your own private room even if you are travelling by yourself. If you have doubts about your mates, change rooms or get a private room. No in room lockers.
Provides reimbursement for shuttle from airport. Movie and popcorn night, pub crawls, and decent kitchens.
