Hi,
I am trying to find a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment for 5 people near the CBD, Darling Harbour or Circular Quay for about 1 week. So far I have looked at Clarion Suites Sth Cross Darling Harbour, and Meriton Pitt Street.
Can anyone recommend any others?

you could try Medina Grand Sydney. They have 3 bedroom apartments and is very close to Darling Harbour. I've stayed at the Medina Grand Harbourside and found it very good but they only have 1 bedroom apartments. My daughter stayed in the Grand Sydney and had no problems at all.

Hey there - a little more work than just calling hotels, but have a look at:
www.stayz.com.au
You'll probably find better weekly deals on there than the standard per nite charges given by hotels.

Two suggestions:
Goldsborough Apartments - Pyrmont side of Darling Harbour. Fantastic city views at night from apartments on Darling Harbour side.
Maestri Towers - Close to Haymarket and monorail but easy five minute walk to Darling Harbour.
If you are wondering about the Meriton in Pitt Street, I can recommend it first hand. It is really good. Location is fabulous (in the middle of everything), and the views are great (depending on how high up you are of course). They do have good deals from time to time as well, just keep an eye on their website. Enjoy Sydney!
Just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions - we ended up staying at the Meriton Pitt Street - definitely recommend it.
The location was great, views fantastic, apartment was comfortable.
Some negatives were the long wait for the elevators, and lack of pool towels - we did have a laundry though, so washed the room towels if we had used them at the pool. Oh, and if you are parking your car there, be prepared to get dizzy - the hotel parking is on the very lowest three levels, and to get there you have to drive down a tight spiral.
