Cheap and clean
Airport shuttle bus stops here.
Next to trains - if you are a light sleeper or go to bed early this place probably isn't for you.
The neighbourhood is not the best and it is a long walk to metro, buses.
For a single woman I suggest using a taxi to return late at night.
Nice people run it, very helpful and seriously concerned with your comfort.
Good security.
Small rooms but who cares? Clean. Nice proprietors, friendly and helpful.
Good internet connection. Free computers in the lobby area. Good breakfast.
Vending machines (snack foods & drinks) in the lobby. Restaurant in evenings.
Rooms: *Good* bed. Hot coffee/tea maker and makings, small refrigerator in the room.
Plenty of good hot water in shower. Lift.
Unique Quality: Full kitchen and barbecue facilities on the roof. Free for guests to use.
From the roof sitting area at night, you can see a wondrous view of the city with the bats flying over the Botanical Gardens, shining in the city's lights and reflecting it back. MAGIC!
Marvelous place to sit late at night !!

Hi!
Can anyone tell me which hostel is better - YHA Sydney Bondi Beach or Noahs Bondi Beach?
Or maybe there is another good hostel in Bondi Beach area – I need to book accommodation for my first week in Sydney.

Just get to Bondi...the hostels are all the same...
Bondi is so-sooooo. Spend 1/2 a day on the beach, grab drinks at Icebergs...Tamarama and Bronte - very cool beachs that are a 10min walk from Bondi.
DO NOT miss the Bondi-Coogee walk...amazing. Stop for lunch at Bronte - should be one of the outdoor highlights of your trip :)

Hey no worries...I just (sober) did the Bondi-Coogee run. It was one of those "my oh my Sydney is the best city in the world" type days...
