Not happy at all

It's not described as their website. The actual room is clean but very simply and is equivalent to a backpack hostel. When we checked in at the day of Sydney record heat wave, the reception lady could not be bother to tell us the high ceiling fan would not work. There is no insect screen on the window. What even worse we that when we ask for some ice after checked in, the reception lady gave us two empty ice trays and asked us to make our own. What ? through bar fridge? We had to move to travel lodge (same cost much comfortable) next day without any refund. We tried to ask to see management and reception lady simply said it's the hotel rules. I don't believe the hotel could ignore the special circumstances (heat wave) like this and insist to fine guest not continue their stay.
