We stayed at Star City for 4 nights, made our bookings weeks earlier. We informed them that our flights would arrived at 10am, therefore we needed to be checked in earlier (normal check-in is 3pm). As we arrived, the registration officer told us that we could not check-in immediately due to all the rooms were fully occupied. She told us to return at 3pm for check-in. We understood the procedure.. So, with exhaustion, we went touring at the Rocks/Circular Quay to kill time. Returned at 3pm to the hotel to check-in, and yet the officer told us that there's no room vacant for us.. We waited patiently at the lobby.... A lot of people walked in and out, went to the counter with their bags.. filled in some forms, smiled and thanked the lady! ???? !! What was going on??? We couldnt wait no longer! We asked if its really full-house, and she said yes.. but still, people are coming in-and-out.. accepting keys and all that! Till Mike blew up and scolded the officer that we have waited for 6 hours and no room... We just made the fuss out of it.. until another officer came, apologised and gave us a room key!.. ??? We were too tired to argue, headed to the hotel room and Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... I recalled, with us there were also this old CHinese couple, in the same situation as us.. Sad, but true..
