Hidden Secret on Orwell St
I've been in Sydney for a while and I must say that Jolly Swagman is one of the better hostel. It's big but friendly at the same time. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the staff is awesome and you just feel at home. The only problem would be that the kitchen is a bit small for the number of people staying at the hostel. They have organized outings to bars for those who want to party - or you can just stay in and watch some movies on the bean bags. Loved my stay here and I would definately recommend it to others.
Unique Quality: There are no pools or anything like that, but the location is great. It's in a back alley, so you can sit outside or in the park next to it in peace, then go two blocks away and you're in the middle of Kings cross - bars, clubs, etc. The train station is only a couple of minutes walk away. If you need any directions or ideas of what to do, just ask the staff. The reception is open 24 hrs and they're all very nice and helpful.

weird feeling
Well, we were expecting much more. The room was freezing and just next door to the toilet. We could hear all possible noises. Friendly hostel as advertised wasnt so friendly. We felt quite strange there. Room was clean but it was funny smell all around the building. The good thing was location. Close to cheap food about 20 minutes walking to harbour

Sydney itself has lots of...
Sydney itself has lots of hostels,hotels etc...
I stayed at Jolly swagman...supposingly famous.
It's at kings Cross area.
Though there are many other hostels as well...
Unique Quality: Great view of the Sudney Bridge from the top.
nice breakfast and good tour packages/recommendations as well.
