Travelodge Hotel
The Travelodge Hotel in Martin Place is a nice, central hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff. It's in a great location for shopping, sight seeing, restaurants/cafes, nightlife etc. And being a 'chain' hotel it has all the usual hotel facilities on offer.
Unique Quality: The rooms are VERY quiet and dark...great if you need a good sleep!!! :)

I stayed at the Travelodge...
I stayed at the Travelodge while in Sydney for my weekend trip last year. A fairly new hotel, affordable and close to the city. We were able to walk to Darling Harbour, and it was also close to Kings Cross if you are after a bit of night life!
Unique Quality: A room can be purchased to include a full buffet breakfast which is well worth it to get you through your day of sightseeing!
