A round-trip scenic drive to MOO country, the town of Mooball, where the power poles are painted black & white, there a funny signs, and a cafe with 'Cow' things for sale.
Start the journey at Tweed Heads and follow the river, calling in at Tumbulgum, there is a good Hotel here. It is a very popular spot for water skiiers.
Murwillumbah has an info centre on the main road. Continuing onto Mooball, the Cafe has lots of Cow things inside, and does good meals.
You can cut across to the coast and Pottsville from here, and follow the beautiful coast road back to Tweed Heads. Pull in at the lookouts, often you see pods of Dolphins.
Any of the backroads afford beautiful views.
