YAMBA WATERS HOLIDAY PARK: QUIET CAMPGROUND

Yamba is another very popular seaside holiday destination, as such, prices for all types of accommodation in the town is quite expensive compared to else-where.

We have stayed at Yamba before and weren't happy, so this time we tried a different Caravan Park, namely "YAMBA WATERS HOLIDAY PARK."

As we entered Yamba, we saw the signpost to the Park on the RH side of the road, this led us past some homes, then vacant land to the Caravan Park. Check-in was easy, as was finding our site. We had a powered site, we could have paid a little more and had an Ensuite site which included a shower & Toilet room. A large lawned area beside the Lagoon, was for people wanting un-powered sites. There were many Units to choose from including 2 bedroom Villas, Studio Units and self contained Holiday Units.

Across from us, was the clean & good Amenities block, then next door was the Camp Kitchen with table and chairs inside and outside under the verandah. Open from 7 - 9.30pm daily.
The adjoining room had a Pool table and a large Television. At another Amenities block, was the Laundry which included coin operated washing machines and dryers. Plenty of washing lines for those sunny days.
The Park had two swimming pools, including a Toddler's wading area and a playground. I found lots of free BBQ's scattered around the park.
If you happened to run out of the basic items such as ice, milk, newspapers and magazines, these could be bought from the Kiosk.
Wi-Fi hot spot
Different Clubs in the area have a Courtesy Bus, so if you want to go to one of these clubs, just pick up the phone and ring the club number, book the bus, and wait at the Park entrance to be picked up. At the end of the evening your returned to the Park - ALL FREE.
The park was quiet even though it was dog friendly.
It was the cheapest Caravan Park in Yamba, way better than the expensive one we stayed at last time.
We were very happy and will be returning.
