Good For Couples
Great location, great hotel
I was a bit worried when I read some of the reviews of this hotel. I used the advice and asked for a courtyard room. However I was really pleased with my experience.
I'd go back - in fact I will!
Unique Quality: The location is awesome - in the middle of some excellent eating places and the coffee at The Coffee Club downstairs is great!
The staff were really REALLY good. Friendly and very helpful. The balcony was wonderful - sat outside and soaked up the sounds of the city and enjoyed the view sipping on a good red. The carpet was indeed somewhat grubby. But it WAS a 3.5 star room too.
LOTS of lovely hot water for a great shower - often that runs out quickly but here it was great. And they service your room every day too - many don't do that.
Directions: Don't rely on your Tom Tom! I got sooooo frustrated that I called Paul at the hotel and he was extremely helpful in guiding me to the hotel.
Where to start!
Service rude ... Room condition - dirty interior and balcony covered in bird excrement...cheap though and good location to pubs and clubs but overall I would not recommend staying here unless your a drunk on a budget.
