SAME HOTEL>>>>SAME OWNERS>>>>>> ANOTHER NEW NAME
2012....Rendezvous Studio Hotel Brisbane on George.....but still the same owners as when it was called "Marque"
I saw the new name so called in today and enquired. The staff were very pleasant and helpful especially the lass in the cafe area where we enjoyed a cup of coffee.
Our stay a couple of years ago.......
Well we left it too late to be given a room at the Treasury Hotel and I remembered we had stayed at this hotel quite some time ago. And it is so close. Now there were new owners, a new name "Marque", and the hotel had been refurbished...even the lift was modernized. Great.
The only thing that is a bit tricky is parking your car. It is a bit tight and is an extra cost. But with a bit of ingenuity one manages. Looks pretty secure too. A thief would be deterred by this set up! Our friends stayed there 2011 and I think the parking was included.
Breakfast available everyday. Lunch and dinner Monday to Friday.
And a Business centre and a couple of computers in the lobby...and more facilities which I forget.
There is 24hour service.
Unique Quality: This would be a hotel I would like when abroad . It is close to the action...Queen Street Mall, Treasury Casino, and The Botanical gardens for example.
And it has a guest laundry as well as a hotel laundry service, an iron,and tea making facilities.
Oh and it is part of " A Collection of Hotels" How do you like that? Managed by Rendevous.
And it cost us $A140 for a double with parking. One night. Out by 11am. See that is the trouble wit putting in prices...Nov 2011 over $A200 a room now.

Great Location!!
Good walking distance to Queen St. Takes abt 5mins walk. Room is acceptably spacious, bathroom is clean. Carpark is free but very cramp.
