One of our better hotels

This is one of Brisbane's finest hotels, and located nestled between the Brisbane River and Botanical Gardens - with beautiful views of both from the rooms. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the service is excellent, and overall hotel facilities are second to none. One of the more expensive hotels in Brissy, but well worth the expense for a special occasion or just a relaxing getaway!

Unique Quality: Beautiful European decor, outstanding service and food. Style all the way.

Stamford Plaza Brisbane

I had a 2 wks stay over at this hotel. It was said to be a 5-star accomodation. The room is not very spacious, but the bathroom is huge. It has a nice view, but depending on which direction u are facing, u might not enjoy the story bridge view after all. Location is acceptable though u have to walk a fair bit to get to Queen's St. Its the last hotel on the street along brisbane river.

Unique Quality: good views, comfortable bathroom. Bathrobe provided but not the slippers. Comes with Foxtel.

Nice digs

The Stamford chain of Hotels took over what was called the Heritage Hotel. This is considered Brisbane's finest hotel.

Located along the waterfront the hotel offers excellent views of the Story Bridge and across to the Kangaroo Point cliffs.

The hotel is well renoun as a wedding reception venue.

Unique Quality: My experience with the hotel is limited to it's garden bar and BBQ restaurant area which is very nice.

Being one of the more exclusive hotels you do pay a bit more for a beer but the ambience is worth it.

Reception Hours.Open 24 hours every day. i fell in love with Australia ever since i have visited. i visited another time just after 2 months. there is something which is inviting me there. It might have been the koalas, kangaroos or pictures of the Opera House. I am not quite sure, but I always had a healthy obsession with the land down under and a strong desire to travel there. The first time you see Sydney Harbour, it is as amazing and breathtaking as you would think. The views of the Opera House, the cool breeze and the people buzzing around snapping photos feel like an adrenal rush. There are ferries, boats and water taxis in Circular Quay. The sidewalks are full of street performers and people relaxing in the grass soaking up the sun and people watching. I was traveling with my sister and we did all the tourist sites: climbing the Harbour Bridge, Bondi Beach, Saturday markets, touring the Opera House and walking the grounds at the Royal Botanic Gardens. We also did our fair share of feeding native animals such as wallabies and kangaroos!
