It is outside of Caines. we really liked it since we just spent 2 weeks in Sydney and Melbourne, big cities. It is next to a beach (Holloways, netted), a swimming pool, nice clean room, and balcony
I strongly do not recommend to stay at this resort with children. The manager of the resort, Micheal was not child friendly at all. She called us about 9pm when we were watching the football match. Stateted that the noise level generated by two children, one 4 years old, the other 2 years of age was unacceptable and said this noise was interrupting the sleep of international travellers. Anyone in the tourist industry in Cairns knows well that June is the start of the peak season for domestic travellers in Far North Queensland and to disrrupt a family during the stay is a very poor marketing decision. Either the policy of this resort or the attitude of Micheal need to change to promote tourism in Far North Queensland for Family traveller
