Best hostel I stayed in in Cairns
This hostel consists of 2 (or 3?) old Queensland houses, really nice buildings. There was a great pool that we spent quite some time in.
When I was there in 1997 we stayed furthest away from the bar area to avoid to much noise (there was nothing).
Like all the hostels in Cairns they gave out free meal tickets for the Woolshed in centre of Cairns.
Unique Quality: It's a small way from the city centre but there's a free courtesy bus at different times during the day
