The Hotel Charleville: An Old Queenslander Pub
Only had one night here and it was a bit noisy but it was a great place overall.
There is budget accomodation offered here so a lot of local and itinerant workers stay here.
A wonderful building full of character, lovely wide verandah's typical of old Queensland buildings and a great history - and that's what made the stay worthwhile.

Evening Star Tourist Park: A camp among the stars - and cattle
Only had one night here to see what it was like and I really enjoyed the stay.
Evening Star is on a working cattle station - Thurlby Station, a 33,000 acre cattle property - and if you want to see how a cattle station works this is one where you will get a good idea about what life on a remote station is like. A family owned station you will enjoy the friendliness and welcome you get in the outback.
There are only 26 sites all up so bookings are essential.
Watching daily life on a cattle station in the outback
Lots of wide open spaces to explore
Lots of wildlife

COBB & CO CARAVAN PARK: CHARLEVILLE'S BEST CAMPGROUND
I chose to stay here in Charleville..This was the best caravan park/campground we found in Charleville... Cabin was large enough for all four of us..double deck beds for the kids...close to town centre..I would recommend this as a good place to stay..
good kitchen with all neccesary cooking utensils.. good and clean.. self contained toilets and bathroom..reasonably priced for four of us @ $60.00 per night..There is a shop across the road that sells all necesary food..
