Just a few minutes from the Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta the Oaks Calypso Plaza Suites offer apartment style accommodation with service. Inexpensive for a few night stsya or for a hotel close to the Gold Coast Airport.
Unique Quality: Good choice of room types, studios, one bedroom and 2 bedroom. Ideal for families. Convenient hotel for Gold Coast Airport.

Terrific beachfront location.
I stayed here whilst my partner is running a conference. It is in a great position five minutes from airport and directly across the road to the beach. Would really suit families as there is a large pool with slippery dip. Only four floors and most rooms look directly onto the pool.(so hence can watch children from your balcony) Life guard is also provided on site. A little out of date but for its position but its well worth a stay.
We are staying in a two bedroom apartment with the weirdest layout. Furniture is ordinary but kitchen adequate. Our friend is staying in a room which is very modern, bright , with balcony and king size bed. Most of the apartments are privately owned so hence the different styles.
No maid service unless you pay for it. Tv, fridge (no Grog) air conditioning, laundry service etc..etc..
THe beach is directly across the road but it takes 5minutes walk across the sand until you reach the water.
Restaurants are nearby with heaps of clubs for nightlife.
Lunch is great overlooking the ocean at the surf club.
Book pool or ocean view rooms.
Come in summer as winter is very quiet.
Conference Rating. - excellent
