The facilities, amenities and service were outstanding at this lovely park. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin that had all of those things that you expect to have to make your stay a comfortable one. Our cabin was situated just across the road from a playground, just around the corner from the office block (also internet connections), and just around another corner to the swimming pool, sauna etc. The outstanding characteristic from my point of view as usual was the quietness despite hugeness of the complex.......Considering they were fully booked and it is child friendly, all was to my liking sound wise.

If you are looking for a holiday where the kids are entertained, eg kids club, beautiful pools, tennis, rainforest walks and enjoying their amazing exotic birds, then this is the palce for you. The accomodation was immaculate and the whole park was kept in A1 condition. I suppose what really impressed us was the friendly, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in two other resorts on our holiday and Ashmore Palms came out on top by far.

We have just returned from a family holiday having spent a fun and relaxing week on the Gold Coast! Accommodation is always a priority for making or breaking the enjoyment of our holiday. Ashmore Palms was a real winner!!! What an excellent venue recommended to us by a family member!
Having travelled with two children aged 8 and 10 it was very important for my husband and I to find a child friendly place to stay. Ashmore Palms delivered this and more...with daily children's activities including craft, face painting, balloon modelling, games and bird feeding for everyone; affordable accommodation (competitively priced and excellent value for money) as well as very clean and well kept facilities including a pool, tennis court, playground, convenience store, courtesy shuttle bus, barbecues, internet booth, laundries, garden walkways and bird avaries.The spacious grounds conveniently located and immaculately manicured made for a great time, as did the friendly and helpful staff!
We would be more than happy to return again, as well as recommend this wonderful venue to others!

My family and I have stayed at Ashmore Palms for 3 holidays in the past 3 years! We keep returning because we just love the whole holiday experience at Ashmore. I have 3 young children (9,9,7) and they just love the facilities at the park.... pools, playgrounds, bird avairies, tennis courts, the lists go on!! We have stayed in three different cabins each time we have gone and have found each one fantastic. The staff are so helpful and accomadating you couldn't ask for a better holiday destination!!

My family and I have just come back from a 3 night stay at Ashmore Palms as part of our Queensland holiday. We booked into the new Rainforest Retreat accomodation which was lovely and spotlessly clean. The resort has great facilities including a playground for the kids, a well equipped shop, internet access and great pool areas. The gardens are also beautifully maintained and the kids liked visiting the birds every morning. All the activities are free for guests and the staff were all very helpful. The Village itself is close to all the theme parks and there are also fast food outlets witin walking distance. If you enjoy this type of accomodation and are visiting the Gold Coast this is a nice place to stay. We got a fantastic rate through wotif.com as well.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at ashmore palms holiday village from the 28th may to the 4th june the place is amazing with lovely walking paths full of palms and caged birds the staff are friendly and so helpful giveing step by step instructions on how to get to theme parks and other places of interest they also told us about markets ,shopping centres to go to .They run a shuttle bus to take you around free of charge on certain days and activities for the kids which was great .Our cabbin was lovely and close to every thing eg:pools,barbeques,playground,laundry. its such a clean place as well .Great for familys we just loved it and on our return home we received a lovely email from the manager and the following day a post card in the mail such lovely people would definitely recommend anyone wanting a family hoilday to stay at Asmore palms

We have just returned from our 11 night stay at Ashmore Palms Holiday Village - Gold Coast Qld Australia. It was just fantastic. A very Family Friendly Village. Each Day there was an activity for the children. My 9 year old daughter was very impressed. She loved the tennis lessons and also the Sand Art. The Village is Cabin accomodation, with a style to suit every one. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The village is beautiful with lovely Bird Avery's and lovely walks. The pools are great, one is heated so you can swim all year round. When we stayed it was the start of winter and the pool was full of children having a great time.. We cannot wait to return. Thanks very much for a great holiday.
BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY YET

I organized a 20 yr reunion of the original bus trip around europe we all did as part of our OE. There were 15 adults and 18 kids. We could not have picked a better place to stay for a week if we tried. All the adults said they had never had such a relaxing family holiday ever because there was always something for the kids to do. So much so that we are all coming back in 3 yrs time. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help. The kids club activites(at no cost) gave the parents a break in the morning. I have had no hesitation in recommending this place to friends and in fact already 2 of our friends families are now going to stay there. Everything was clean & affordable. To my mind the high rise resorts don't come close to the more laid back easy going Ashmore Palms. Towards the end of the week we were comfortable enough to let the kids play or go to the shop on their own in the 14 acre grounds. As there was a large group of us we stayed in a range of accom. Everyone was happy with what the rooms they had ie facilities etc. Would probably pay the extra for lorikeet lounge next time. Once again wholeheartly endorse this place for a family holiday.

Great Family getaway

Wow, second visit in two years, stayed in a Palm Cottage in 2005, this time staying in a Rainforest Retreat Cabin and it was perfect. This place has it all, from relaxing around the pool, relaxing in your cabin, easy access to local shops, theme parks, night spots and Surfers. With lots on offer for the kids backed up by a day planner calendar so nothing is missed.
We hired a car and travelled up from Sydney after staying with friends and stayed at Ashmore Palms for nine nights. For a family of five, four adults and one child it was not expensive at all, well within the budget we had set.
We caught up with friends and visited a couple of theme parks. Ashmore is close to Surfers Paradise and night spots. You can book the shuttle bus from reception and the staff are all very helpful if you need anything.
The cabin was lovely, clean and quiet. Our two older teenagers found it roomy and hired the PS2 and DVD's on a regular basis and there are always outside activities to be involved in. Our youngest and I fed the birds one morning and saw a green tree snake and a couple of large lizards...all basking in the sun.
We also took in the sun enjoying the pool area and a great morning tea.
We are considering visiting again in a couple of years and would like to stay in the Macaw Mansions. The staff were very obliging and took us through one while we were there, made our minds up. All in all a fantastic experience and one enjoyed by all members of our family.
