Freshwater Point Resort
This place is great. Stayed here for 6 nights in March 2007. We stayed in a one bedroom and it was huge, it had a great kitchen with family sized fridge, oven, hotplate, microwave. It even had a washing machine and dryer tucked away in a little cupboard in the bathroom, although you didn't need the dryer as they provide a clothes hanger that you place out on the balcony and clothes dry very quickly. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, letting us check in heaps earlier and always asking us if we needed a taxi or directions. It has a nice gym with all new machines and weights, steam room, sauna, spa and salt water pool. Great outdoor areas for family bbq's. The apartments are only serviced when you leave and we found this not a problem, if you stayed more than 8 nights they will service it, but we only stayed 6. Resort was a about a 10 minute walk to Conrad Jupiters and Pacific Fair and to the Broadbeach restuarants, but you had to cross the highway. Close to public transport but we hired a car, and the apartment came with a carbay which was good. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
