Gold Coast Tip
by Krystynn
I cannot recommend a better activity to do than to sign up for the HELICOPTER JOY FLIGHT here at SEA WORLD. You'd gasp (for sure!) at the unparallel views of the entire SURFERS PARADISE from your helicopter. Nothing short of - AWESOME!
Golf Mecca
by goldcoaster
Aside from surfing, if there is one thing the Gold Coast has a ton of, it's golf courses. These range from the Merrimac hackers, which is literally a cow paddock, to the very exclusive private courses of Arundel Hills and the Grand.
For the most part you can get a round plus cart for about $50-75 at a decent course like Emerald Lakes, where they hold the Queensland PGA. For a slightly better course, say Royal Pines or Lakelands, the only Jack Nicklaus designed course in Australia, it will set you back about $100. Most courses will insist that each player has their own set of clubs. If you don't want to bring them with you, most pro shops have them to hire at varying rates depending on the clubs.
Many of the better courses offer a free hotel pick up and drop off service as well.
3 am Nightclub lock out
by goldcoaster about Shooters, Melbas, The Drink and others
In the last council elections here, in an attempt to make the old people feel safe about all the nightclubs in town, the local council tried to make clubs shut 2 hours earlier. What has basically happened is that we now have a 3am lock out.
While the clubs still close at 5am, you have to be inside by 3am or you get locked out. For many who don't even go out until midnight it is a bit of a pain. So make sure you do your rounds early and find out which club you like the best then head back to it before 3am!
Oddly, they still allowed the casino which is frequented by rich old farts to stay open 24/7. I love a democratic society.

a walk through entertainment experience
by Dani_aus
Infinity is like a mazy thing that you walk through, it is made up of different rooms.
at the start you get given some white gloves, and as you go through, you have to feel your way around the rooms to the next push door that will take you to the next room.
each room is a totaly different experience...
for example, there's a wobbly room, which has a wobbly floor like jelly and wobbly walls. very strange to feel your way around there.
there;s another room which i think is called heaven, this one is all mirrors and laserlights.. veryyyyyyyyyy pretty
