Same hotel different name
I just want to point out to people that Flag Kuranda Rainforest Resort is the Kuranda Resort and Spa. I don't know why it's listed twice under 2 different names. I only know it as the Kuranda Resort and Spa. I think Virtual Tourist should only list this establishment once under its current name or at least point out to people that this is the same place.

Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park
Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park is located just outside Kuranda, with only a 10 minute walk along the Barron River to Kuranda.
We were staying at a campervan site, but there are also bungalows and a lodge in the Park.
The staff was very friendly and helpful – and they speak Danish.
There is a restaurant in the Park with great food and live entertainment in the evening. The restaurant also has a nice view over the rainforest.

Eco lodges in the rainforest
This is a nice hotel with separate cabins for the guests. We stayed in a cabin with a bedroom on the first floor and two beds beneath the roof. It had a kitchen and dining area. So you find here all you need.
There is a bar in this resort where also locals hang out and there is a small animal park inside the resort. But it's also located inside nature and a nice place to put your feet up, have a few drinks and play some pool.
