The amenities were basic and clean, there was a laundry room close by, clothes line, little kitchen with a table, couple of stoves, fridges.
If you want your own accommodation but don't want to pay a lot, I recommend this place as it was only $40 per double (no ensuite but bathrooms weren't far down the corridor). It may have been a backpackers, but this part of it was mostly for double and twin rooms, and there was little or no noise from anybody.
Unique Quality: Hideaway didn't have its own pool, and we were on the ground floor, 3 mins walk from the beach but no view (but the tropical gardens around the building were nice). One of the good characteristics for me were the Gecko lizards we found on the laundry walls to take photos of (very small and cute). It was also nice and quiet. Travellers Backpackers (which owns Hideaway) is just across the road and almost right on the beach, and has a little restaurant and bar, and other facilities which can also be used by those at staying at Hideaway. Travellers also has its own resident big Croc, born in Captivity, (well locked away behind fencing in the outdoor dining courtyard!) named Rin Tin Tin.
Directions: Check in is at Travellers backpackers, who will direct you around the back to find Hideaway.
