Positives: Great location

NEGATIVES: Run down, to many unnecessary house rules, quality of rooms is poor and minimal, quite dirty for a backpackers, pet hair on supposedly 'clean' bed when arrived AND WORST OF ALL the manger seems to not be interested in people or any problems that are raised. Would not give refund due to our disgust of the condition of the hostel and her attitude.

STAY CLEAR if you want to actually ENJOY your holiday.

Unique Quality: Run down character?!

Close to the city centre, in what is the urban sprawl of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, this rambling old two level guest house is a welcome place to stay. It is a busy and energy filled establishment where one has the chance to bump into many a fellow traveller. Some are long term residents who either keep comming back or who are working in the fruit picking business.

Unique Quality: Two kitchens - a big bonus, bathrooms up stairs and down, aswell as a TV area and outdoor swimming pool. The dorms are a little cramped, but there is a secure lock up room for valuables. The staff are very friendly and helpful, including Nelson the resident labrador...
