We recently had a three night's mid-week stay at Dockside Apartments in a two bedroom unit.
We found the unit on the second floor of of the three story building met all our requirements as far as amenities , comfort and fit out were concerned.
The modern unit is totally self-contained with a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer, & microwave. There is a separate room with washing machine & dryer, ironing board & iron. Bathroom is equipped with hair dryer. Toilet is separate from bathroom. Lounge area was very comfortable with multi channel cable tv and DVD/CD player.
The unit has both split cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans in every room. Not that they were required as there is better than average air circulation between the front and back balconies.
There is a pool and BBQ on the ground floor level. Wireless internet is available (pay to use).
Self caterers have less than 100 metres to walk to Grocery Shopping and take-away restaurants such as McDonalds, Subway etc.
Unique Quality: The most outstanding feature of Dockside is its very central location. It is an easy walk to the nearby Marina which features Underwater World and several eating places as well as touristic activities such as boat hire, scuba lessons, harbour cruises.
The Esplanade at Mooloolaba with its wealth of eateries, coffee houses and surfing beach is only five minutes walk away. We parked the car in Dockside's secure parking and walked everywhere.
