The main street in Noosa is called Hastings Street...this is where you will find most of the shops, restaurants and cafes...and a lot of tourists... ;)
The beach is right beside Hastings Street so you can easily wander up for a cool drink or icecream while spending the day at the beach.
Point Glorious is a wonderful lookout that overlooks fertile valleys, and gives views of the coast.
We turned off the Eumundi to Kenilworth road, and followed the dirt forest drive road that wound its way up the Mountain. At 6kms from the top, there is a junction, and it is from here, that the road deteriorates very badly. Access can be by 2WD car, but 4WD would be the best!
Upon reaching the lookout, we noticed that new Toilets had been built, picnic tables and chairs located where there were good views, and a new viewing platform had been built. Also, there were pins where Abseiler's could hook into.
The view was lovely. The valley was so green and lush!
This is a good lookout, but be warned, if you are not a confident driver, then it would be best to leave out visiting here!

noosa is amazing, if you have ever been to laguna CA its alittle reminiscent. beachy posh. cute boutiques and cafes. great beaches that are rimmed with lush green forests. you feel like you are in the the tropical rainforests.
we got caught in a gnarley tropcal storm, and were pelted with rain drops the size of eye balls. so fun.
