Economical and Easy Walking Distance to Town

This was a small family-owned hotel and the owners seemed very laid back and nice. The prices seem to range from AU$120-$150 (about US$90-$115), depending on season. But if you happen to have Choice Priviledges points, this was only 8000/night which is less than most! The room was not luxurious, but clean and roomy with coffee & tea, a microwave, fridge, and a little back porch. Also a second sink where the fridge & microwave are... which my mom always enjoys because then people can do things like brush teeth at the second sink while others are in the shower. :)

We had a car, but usually preferred to get in a little exercise and take the 10-15 minute walk up a nice sidewalk to the main street in town.

Unique Quality: The little bar & restaurant just at the front of the premises seemed to be a very happening place and one night they were showing this movie on this big white tarp they stretched across the front area. It was very interesting!
