South Mission Beach is a beachfront town with over 14km's of magnificent golden sandy beaches. In many places, the rainforest literally fringes the long stretches of pristine golden beach.

Day 7 - This beautiful beach was also the final destination of our kayaking odyssey which had started some 90km's and 7 days earlier at Lucinda, just south of Hinchinbrook Island.

During this trip I had been sunburned, salt encrusted, bruised and sore, and totally in love with this pristine paradise playground in this part of far north Queensland.

And like all good things this is the end of an extremely enjoyable and memorable adventure. I truly hope and wish that I can repeat this pleasurable paddle.
