Marine Resort

The Marine resort occupies the area around the Marina and recpetion area, the apartments looked really nicely furnished (we didn't stay there ourselves) but I think they might be a bit noisy and un-private if the resort was busy.

Took this photo in the beautiful afternoon light.

Unique Quality: Some of the Marine resort apartments are actually over-water which would be lovely and cool in summer!

Private cabins set in the rainforest: Nature Cabins

The Nature Cabins are scattered throughout the rainforest between the lagoon and the Surf beach. There are 3 types of cabins - studio, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom,

I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with 3 other friends and found them to be very confortable and much more private than the Marine Resort apartments which are kind of packed-in at the front of the resort.

Very tasteful decor with lots of light wood and extensive use of louvres so you can catch the lovely afternooon breezes. You will also see some of the widlife around the cabins - we saw wallabies and a goanna as well as frogs at night!!

Unique Quality: Completely mosquito netted balcony means you can sit outside and enjoy the warm summer evenings without the annoyance!

Full self-contained so you dont have to bring stuff with you if you want to cook for yourself.
