unhappy, expensive and unclean
upon arrival at anchor down the floor was unclean with large yellowy patches next to the bed and dirty/stained sheets
the floor had sand through it, and the kitchen floor was sticky as it had clearly not been mopped, and the kitchen bench given an obvious brief wipedown, the kitchen smelt strongly of off milk for the entire trip, i am positive that it was trodden into the carpet as it constantly stunk
further inspection of the bedroom revealed a used condom in the wardrobe and an unidentified stain next to the bed.... and ciggarette butts throughout the apartment
luckily it was only for 3 nights that we stayed there,... and due to the popularity of the surfers paradise area, all apartments within our price range were booked...therefore we opted to stay on the lounge for the majority of the time....
adding to our disgust and dissppointment was the security guard, who shared with my 2 female friends stories of his sexual experiences the week before during schoolies, and certain incentives that were given to him to allow people into their room...
the management was not at all helpful in assisting us with our noted problems, only letting us know that there was a broom and mop avaliable in each room for us to use
i would not reccommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area as it is just not worth it for what you pay... for all of these good reviews i have read, i question wether you actually stayed in the same block as us as we were truely disgusted....
Unique Quality: the pool would have to be the highlight of the trip, possibly only because it was hot nd the water was nice.... and gave us the opportunity to get out of the apartment
