Trouble in Paros

Stayed for 6/8 nights in jan.
Given a garden room above reception
Rooms were dirty and things such
as doors, blinds, and windows
were rusted and falling apart.
Noise from traffic, tennis courts,
and the local night life.
Things offered on their website were
NOT included! We had to practically nag
for a DVD player which we eventually got 3 days in.

We had to buy ice cube trays, sponges, toilet paper all
which were not provided.

We notified the staff of things which were broken when
we arrived,We explained our dissatisfaction and they offered
us an early check out.

Rude staff, no maintenance of rooms which were not ventilated and hot!
$10 fee for air conditioner per night, which we weren't even offered.

If you get the room we got, you won't get a good nights sleep and although
it's just on the beach.. There are much better places who will be more accommodating
Have everything you could want, and for a little bit more.

I recommend

break free beach point

Impeccable rooms, friendly stuff, 2 pools,
a spa and sauna. Leaps and bounds above Paros
apartments and 2 minutes walk from surfers main
shopping area without the noise.

Unique Quality: Dust, rust, hot rooms, rude staff.

The Wax Museum

This is two attractions in one featuring the World in Wax and the Chamber of Horrors.

At the World in Wax you can meet lifelike celebrities such as Elvis, Michael Jackson and Kylie Minogue or famous people like Mahatma Gandi and Albert Einstein.

Most of them look a tad pasty except for Mahatma Gandi. After staring at his very realistice likeness I could have sworn that he winked at me ;~)

The Chamber of Horrors is clearly for those who relish in the macabre world of torturers and the tortured along with torture instruments including the Dis-emboweler and the Flesh Tearer!

Everyone said that I had to go to Surfers Paradise. I was there for almost 7 months and only went to the beach a handfull of times. Worked my first day at a local club here and the Violent Femmes were playing. It brought back some memories from a long time ago when I first heard their songs. It was packed and the sound was great!
