We found this resort fabulous, it has everything. 3 swimming pools including one that is an outside beach on the 5th floor. The resort is right in central surfers so you don't need a car, there is a shopping complex on the ground floor [including a Supermarket] only 1 block from the beach and a minute stroll to the main street of Surfers 'Cavill Ave'
The room was spacious, modern and clean and had great furnishings. It had great views of the ocean and also the river behind. We had a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment and my family of 5 found it had ample room.
I would recommend this resort to everyone, it is fab.
Don't book through the hotel though, there are plenty of owners who own these apartments who 'holiday let' them out, you will save $$$$$. We booked through www.holidayhouses.co.nz, we didn't have any hassles at all and found the owners most reliable and pleasant to deal with
3 pools, 3 spa pools, games room, childrens play area, shops on ground floor, central surfers location, modern and clean
