Cheap accommodation

Hi, I've been searching yellow pages etc but thought I'd go to the knowledge bank that is VT instead. I am looking for a youth hostel or similar cheap accommodation in Warwick (only need one night) and was hoping someone had a recommendation. Thanks in advance.

I have driven through Warwick and also stayed there.For the life of me I can't remember the name of the pub.
I am sure there were a number of pubs that had cheap rooms.
I would try pubs:)

the horse and jockey hotel has cheap rooms but not hostel style. It is first on the right after the Bridge

Try O'Mahony's Hotel, it caters for backpackers and is the cheapest accommodation in Warwick. Call (07) 4661 1146 to check out the cost.

THE SOUTHERN DOWNS OF QUEENSLAND

"WARWICK - THE ROSE & RODEO CITY"

Warwick is a thriving city, being the largest urban area on the Southern Downs. It is located 160kms from Brisbane, and is on the main inland route to Sydney. (New England Highway) On a drive around the town, you will see lots of lovely old sandstone buildings and beautiful Roses when in season.
The Condamine river passes through the city.
There is more than one School here, and you will also find Scots PGC College, this College takes in boarders.
It is famous for its roses and the Rose Festival, and the Warwick Rodeo, which is held late October.

"TOURIST DRIVES"

There are a lot of tourist drives that originate from here.
SUNFLOWER ROUTE 50km round trip
SETTLERS ROUTE 72km round trip
CEDAR ROUTE 62km round trip
SPRINT ROUTE 118km trail

Call in at the tourist information centre for details and brochures on these routes, and things to see in Warwick and surrounds.
