Visit the Barossa Valley. Taste some good Australian wines. South Australia makes more than half of Australia's wines, including the famous Penfold's grange. Jacobs creek wines are also produced in this area. The red wines in this area are particularly good. The Barossa is only 50km from Adelaide so easy reached in a day trip but i would recommend staying overnight so you can really sample the wines (hic...lol)
