Does anyone know if Sky Show is happening in 2010?
I heard a rumour that it's meant to happen, however a google search turned up no information.

No, sorry. Sky Show is the fireworks show that used to be held in Elder Park on Australia Day in past years ... they stopped it a couple years ago due to lack of funding. Someone at work mentioned it's back this year, but I can't find any evidence.

Skyshow is def on in 2010. They're incorporating it into the Clipsal 500 instead of having it on Australia Day this year.
It will be on Saturday March 13 at the Clipsal 500 track.

yes it is on, it is tomorrow night, march 13 combined with the Clipsal car race, you can enter after 6.30pm and it is free.

If you love the beach, take the time to go to at least one of these beaches rather than the tourist beach, Glenelg: Moana, Christies Beach, Port Noarlunga, Port Willunga, Aldinga, Silver Sands and Victor Harbour. Glenelg is great for people watching but these beaches have far less people, and nicer water and sand. I love Adelaide weather. It is usually very sunny and it doesn't get very cold. The only thing is that it is a dry heat, so if you are prone to electric shocks (like me), then it's a bit of a problem.
Kookaburra sit in a gum tree

Snapped this pic of a Kookaburra in a small park opposite a shopping mall. Made famous by their contagious laugh, which they use to mark their territory, they are an Aussie icon. They are a member on the kingfisher family and are the largest of their kind. Their diet consists of mostly insects but they do hunt for small birds, rodents and reptiles.

The wide quiet beach at Larg's Bay is a wonderful place to take time out to relax, acomodation at the Larg's Pier Hotel is right on the esplanade. opposite the jetty. originaly the railway spur carried freight right out to the end. to be loaded on windjammers bound for Europe.

The Nullabor plain the longest,flattest road in the world, its goes for some 4,000km. Thats a LONG way and this place is notorious for UFO abductions etc..Hmmmm! (Thanks for pic John) We travelled a majority of the time here at night, so no shot available from me.

Music is generally of the quieter indie/ lowfi/ alt country/ alt.pop.rock variety.
Great counter meals before 8pm, coopers beer on tap.
This used to be a much better venue before it was remodelled to accomadate more patrons, now the sound often bleeds through from the front bar and there is no stage. Decent PA, always free entry, closes just after midnight.
Tries to show commitment to music scene but has a strong pub regulars feel.
