Mawson Lakes Hotel
I was suprised when I walked into the room. It was very nice and had everything. A TV which was big enough to actually watch, couches, spa, balcony and everything was controlled by a C-bus system which is actually really cool. If you stay there try holding the light switch in and see what happens! It's really cool.
The balcony is pretty small and if you was looking for privacy out there then you probably wont get it because all the rooms are close together.
The spa is also a bit small if you want to get two people in there, you can do it but it's not a corner spa.
As for the layout of the hotel the reception is on the lower level and the rooms are upstairs (or elevator). The rooms are quite far away from the restaurant and function center so it's not loud at all and there is a back enterance so you don't have to walk through crowds of people to get to your room. There is a drive thru or walk in bottle shop downstairs outside.

Quiet Suburban Hotel
Mawson Lakes is very new suburb.
It seems to be a technological town supporting the University of SA and surroundings.
Everything from footpaths to building to lakes and parks all feel like they are only about 2 years old.
Unique Quality: The Mawson Lakes Hotel is no where near Adelaide CBD but there are lots of shops around and the hotel itself boasts, gym, bistro, bar, bottle shop, gambling room and function centre.
The staff are very nice and the rooms were modern and clean.
Each room has DVD player, TV, FOX, laundry, kitchen bathroom.
Buses run fairly frequently from the opp mall to nearby Tea Tree.
