I've stayed in Oct 2006. When I first stepped into the service apartment, I was surprised by the small lobby and reception area. The service from the reception staff is good. We forgot to bring our adaptor and they are able to give me one so that I can use it to charge handphone and camera. We also borrowed DVD player from them as there is nothing to do during the night in Adelaide. All these are free of charge. We thought there might be some charge on this. From the quest mansions website, we know they have facilities like BBQ pit, laundry area, etc. Personally I didn't quite like the BBQ pit. Looks kind of dirty and old. Initially our plan is to have a BBQ nite during our stay there with my cousin and her friends. but upon seeing it, we decide drop the idea. The amenities were fine. Common items like towels, shampoo, etc are there. The service apartments has a living room, kitchen with full amenities like frying pan, saucepan, utensils, stove, refridgerator, etc. There are also daily cleaning service. We had stayed in a One Bedroom Apartment. There are 2 single size beds, 1 queen size beds and queen size sofa bed. There are 4 of us. It has very high ceilings. The things in the service apartment is reasonable but some things are quite old and dirty. And One thing that i don't like most is upon entering the apartment after our trip for each day, there is a kind of weird smell. It can even be smelt at the lift lobby and corridor to the apartment. I wonder what smell is that. The location of this apartment is superb i must say. it is 5-10 mins walk to central market. Right at the doorstep to Rundle Mall. There is a supermarket call "woolworths" nearby. University of Adelaide is just opposite. Outside the apartment is a bus station that goes to some shopping centre. one bus goes to Harbourtown, Adelaide's direct factory outlet, which most items are on discounts. I would recommend this service apartment to someone who needs convenience and not fussy about the smell and some old things in the apartment.
