There is only one caravan park in Clare, and it is this one, although I do believe you can camp at the Showgrounds.

Not to worry though, as this is a top-notch caravan park, set in approx 30 acres of flora and fauna reserve, and amongst lovely big gum trees, we found it a very pleasant park to stay in.

We could choose between a slab or grass site, so we chose the latter which meant we were on our own more amongst nature. It was in this area, that you can have campfires. The downside to this area, was lack of lighting and the long walk to the amenities block, this could be improved by putting a walkway bridge in. Other than that, all was excellent.

The Caravan park has unpowered, powered sites and a big choice of cabins. It would have the best camp kitchen I have seen at a c/park, stainless steel and spotless! It was cool weather, so the open wood fire was being put into use at the under cover outdoor seating area. There were BBQ's, Bicycle hire, Playground, Inground Solar heated swimming pool, playground, Coin operated laundry with plenty of washing lines and 2 large Amenities blocks. The park was kept spotless.

We found plenty of bird life where we were camped, and just a short walk from us, was the Tourist Information centre, very handy!

Our stay here was good and we would definitely stay here again.
It is a Top Tourist Park, so if you are a member, you will receive 10% off your booking to a maximum of $30.
