Coober Pedy Hotel
Onwe of the most unique place I have ever stayed. If you are staing in Coober Pedy the Desert Cave Hotel is an excellent choice

5 star Desert accommodation
Built around the late 1980’s, at the time it was completed, it was the first 5 star hotel in the world to have a section underground.
Unlike a lot of other buildings in town, this one protrudes quite a long way above the ground.
Besides 5 star rooms, it also has a hairdresser, opal shop & opal cutter, souvenir shop, displays, café, underground bar and convention restaurant.
